New Training Sessions Scheduled!



Appalachian Kentucky Health Care Access Network (AKHCAN) provides Tier I Community Health Worker (CHW) training, now delivered in a safe, virtual format. Training days will begin at 8:00 on most days and end no later than 4:00, with some much shorter. Participants seeking CHW Certification must attend all scheduled days of training.

Additional trainings will be provided later in the summer, including Suicide Awareness, Substance Abuse, and Motivational Interviewing. You will receive info on those Zoom sessions as soon as it is available.
